You have to start with Part 1 to give you Background to this series.
Part 6. Do you have unfinished business?
I’ve had the experience a couple of times to let a relationship just go or to try and fix it. Whenever I asked God what He thought, He always told me to fix it.
Mat 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
I remember once when my Boss and I had a fight and I stormed out of his office. When I got to my desk I asked, God, what must I do: He clearly said: Go and say you’re sorry. I argued and told God the whole story again – maybe He wasn’t there, maybe He didn’t understand what had just happened? Once again the instruction was clear – Go and say you’re sorry. I said OK then. I went back to his office and simply said: Rolf, I’m sorry I argued with you. He accepted my apology and a month later promoted me. The company history however, was if you crossed his path, you were out within a month! So, I learnt, don’t argue with God. If He says FIX IT, you fix it. It makes your life much simpler if you don’t have enemies.
